As Redmi’s first compact tablet, the Redmi K Pad has entered the market with momentum. With a slim and compact design, this tablet uses a high-end chipset found in flagship phones, proving that “size doesn’t determine performance.”

Display and Design

The main attraction of this tablet is its 8.8-inch IPS LCD screen. With a resolution of up to 3,008 x 1,880px and a 165Hz refresh rate, everything will be fast and smooth, both during gaming and general use. The 16:10 aspect ratio is especially suitable for watching movies and reading.

The entire body is constructed from metal and is only 6.46 mm thick, giving you the full experience of a slim and light device. It weighs just 336 grams, so it’s comfortable even when held in one hand for extended periods.

Internal Performance and Gaming Features

The heart of the Redmi K Pad is the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, the same one used in the Redmi K80 Ultra. With options for up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, you can run any demanding game or app at the highest settings.

As is customary for the Redmi K series, gamers are the main focus. It includes a massive 12,050mm² vapor chamber cooling system to control overheating during long gaming sessions.

Another very interesting feature is the inclusion of two USB-C ports. With one on the bottom and one on the side, you can plug in the charging cable from whichever side is more convenient, preventing it from getting in the way while you play and charge simultaneously.

Battery, Camera, and Other Features

In the battery department, it is equipped with a 7,500mAh capacity and supports 67W fast charging. As for cameras, it includes an 8MP camera on the front and a 13MP camera on the back.

Color and Price

The Redmi K Pad will be available in three colors: Deep Black, Spruce Green, and Smoky Purple.

The prices in China are:

• 12GB/256GB model for CNY 2,799 (around $390)
• 16GB/1TB model for CNY 4,199 (around $585)
